Home care quality indicators

The voluntary National Aged Care Quality Indicator Program (QI Program) is available to all residential aged care services in Australia.

An initial suite of tools that measure goal attainment, consumer experience and quality of life were piloted with a nationally representative sample of Home Care Package service providers in early 2016. The key findings and outcomes of the pilot are available on the National Aged Care Quality Indicator Program - Residential and Home Care Pilot Outcomes web page.

Questions or comments about the quality of life and consumer experience measures can be emailed to AgedCareReformEnquiries@health.gov.au
