In the 2015-16 Budget, the Aged Care Services Improvement and Healthy Ageing Grants (ACSIHAG) fund was redesigned and renamed the Dementia and Aged Care Services Fund (DACS). The DACS fund began on 1 July 2015.

ACSIHAG 2012-2015

The ACSIHAG fund provided flexible funding to deliver new and innovative, generally time-limited projects that addressed aged care priority areas and helped strengthen the aged care system. ACSIHAG supported organisations and activities that promoted healthy and active ageing. Each round was intended to strengthen the capacity of the aged care sector by providing funding for a wide range of time-specific innovative projects.
