These resources are available for you to share with consumers (older people, their families, friends and carers) via your communication channels, including at presentations and events and via your social networks and newsletters.

Resources will be continually updated. Notifications of updates will be announced in our regular eNewsletter, which you can sign up for on the Subscribe page.

Booklets, brochures and other printed material

NEW - Find the help you need with myagedcare 

This brochure provides an overview of services available and how to access them. It is for people who have not yet contacted My Aged Care or been referred for assessment. The content of this brochure is the same as the ‘From home support to aged care homes: how to get started with My Aged Care’ brochure. It has been rebranded to reflect the messaging of the new My Aged Care campaign.

NEW – Aged care for LGBTI elders: Getting started with My Aged Care 

This factsheet provides an overview of aged care services available and how to access them specifically for the LGBTI community.

New - Your guide to Commonwealth Home Support Programme services

This booklet explains how older people can access entry-level support in their home and daily life through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme.

Your guide to home care package services

This booklet explains how older people with a range of higher care needs can access support in their home, through a coordinated Home Care Package. Translations and printed copies are available.

Your pathway to accessing a home care package brochure 

This brochure provides older Australians and their families or carers with the information to understand where they are in the pathway to accessing home care and the steps and actions needed to move from one stage to the next.

Note: for someone who doesn’t yet know what type of care they may be eligible for, the 'Find the help you need with myagedcare' brochure is more suitable.

Five steps to entry into an aged care home

The Five steps to entry into an aged care home booklet aims to help older people, families and carers understand the process for moving into an aged care home. It outlines five steps to follow and what to do at each step. Printed copies are available.
