Dear Aged Care Stakeholder

A discussion paper on the proposed changes to financial and prudential reporting for providers of residential and home care has been released for public consultation. The discussion paper follows the Aged Care Financing Authority’s recent report “Improving the collection of financial data from aged care providers”. The report and response from the Assistant Minister for Social Services are available on the Department of Social Services website.

The Department seeks the views of residential and home care providers on the proposed reporting framework and on the issues raised in the paper. The discussion paper is available on the Department of Social Services website.

Submissions are due by close of business on Friday 27 February 2015.
