Changes to Home Care Packages Programme Financial Accountability Reporting

Dear Approved Provider,
I am writing to advise you of changes to the Home Care Packages Programme Financial Accountability Reporting process for 2013-14 and to give you early advice that the Department is in the process of revising the Financial Accountability Report form to simplify and streamline the financial reporting process and reduce the administrative burden for providers.
Changes from the previous Financial Accountability forms for the programme will include the following:
- Reducing reporting to one streamlined form from the current two forms;
- Significantly reduced reporting requirements;
- An audited statement will not be required; and
- The submission date will be extended by a month to 31 October 2014.
The revised form known as 2013-14 Home Care Packages Programme Financial Statement and a Guide to the new reporting process will be distributed in early August 2014.
