Two waves of research were conducted in 2016 and 2017 to evaluate the implementation of stage two of My Aged Care in July 2015.

The 2017 aged care advertising campaign ran from 31 May to 30 June 2017. The evaluation research was conducted before, and shortly after, the campaign to measure its effectiveness.
Research was conducted in August and September 2017 to evaluate the experiences and perceptions of home care package consumers and service providers since the introduction of the Increasing Choice in Home Care reforms on 27 February 2017.
