Improved information on quality of services

The department is working with the National Aged Care Alliance Quality Advisory Group to develop options for quality information that could be published on My Aged Care to help consumers choose service providers.

The My Aged Care website is critical to increasing consumer choice in the delivery of aged care services. Improved information about provider quality on My Aged Care is intended to:

  • help consumers and industry understand to better compare aged care services
  • encourage provider performance
  • help consumers to make informed choices.

This work builds on the National Aged Care Quality Indicator Programme (including measures of consumer experience and quality of life.
